Vontas announced that Shannon Godwin has been promoted to Vice President, Business Development, effective February 25th. In this role, she will lead the company’s sales organization, with responsibility for sales strategy, revenue growth, and overall performance across the function.
Godwin has been with Vontas since February 2023, most recently serving as Director of Sales Operations. Her leadership in that role has helped strengthen the company’s sales infrastructure and align strategy, process, and execution. She brings more than 20 years of experience in customer success, sales operations, and business development, with a consistent focus on helping customers realize measurable value from the solutions they invest in.
Before joining Vontas, Godwin held senior leadership roles at CentralSquare Technologies, including Senior Customer Success Executive and Senior Manager of Customer Success, where she led teams focused on retention, customer satisfaction, and long-term account growth. Earlier in her career, she served as Sales Operations Manager at Xerox, supporting a government-sector sales organization within a large international company.
