A Look Back at 2024

Vontas Shines at APTA 2024 TRANSform

This year, we left a lasting impression at APTA 2024 TRANSform in Anaheim, California. Our booth was a hub of activity, featuring live product demonstrations and thought leadership events. Attendees were introduced to Vontas OnCall, a game-changing integration of Orion’s Push-to-Talk technology with our OnRoute CAD/AVL system, designed to improve real-time communication and incident management. The conference also highlighted our commitment to the transit industry’s future. From Paul Comfort’s book signing event to an engaging panel discussion with top transit CEOs, Vontas played a pivotal role in advancing conversations around innovation and leadership.

Delivering a Next-Gen CAD/AVL System for Hamilton Street Railway

A significant milestone this year was our partnership with Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) in Ontario, Canada. Vontas was selected to deliver a next-generation CAD/AVL solution to elevate HSR’s operations. By providing real-time tracking, advanced dispatch capabilities, and seamless communication, the Vontas OnRoute system is set to improve both operational efficiency and the passenger experience.

OnRoute + Orion = Vontas OnCall

The launch of Vontas OnCall was another highlight of 2024. By combining the power of Orion’s advanced voice technology with the Vontas OnRoute CAD/AVL system, this solution enables transit agencies to respond swiftly to incidents, enhance driver safety, and reduce emergency response times.
